At The Orchard School, our SEND Policy sets out how we meet the needs of all pupils with special educational needs and disabilities — within the context of a specialist SEMH setting. Every pupil on roll has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and our provision is designed to respond flexibly, relationally and therapeutically to a wide range of complex needs.

Our policy reflects the guidance in the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and is rooted in our Mission, Vision and Values and whole-school use of Therapeutic Thinking.
