School Meals & Menus

Nutritious meals. Calm routines. Shared experiences.

At The Orchard School, we know that mealtimes are more than just eating — they’re an important part of the day for connection, regulation and care. Many of our pupils benefit from structured, supported routines that help make lunch a safe and positive experience.

We provide balanced, nutritious meals that meet a range of dietary needs and support physical and emotional wellbeing.

What We Offer

  • Hot meals cooked daily, including a vegetarian option
  • Cold packed lunch options available where preferred
  • Pupil-led menu planning through School Council input
  • Halal and allergy-friendly meals available on request
  • Water and fresh fruit always available

Meals are served in calm, supported settings with familiar staff who eat alongside pupils to model social interaction and create a positive atmosphere.
