    Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. At The Orchard School, we are fully committed to the safety, wellbeing and dignity of all pupils, families and staff. If you have a concern — no matter how small — please tell us. We will listen, respond, and act in line with our safeguarding policy and procedures.


    How to Report a Concern

    For Parents, Carers or Visitors:

    • Speak to any member of staff — they will pass your concern to the safeguarding team
    • Call the school and ask to speak to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

    For Pupils:

    • Talk to a trusted adult at school — we’ll listen and help
    • Use your class worry box (if available)
    • Ask for a quiet space to speak with your key adult or a member of the safeguarding team
